My Approach to a successfull Partnership
I believe in a collaborative process that puts your needs first, and delivers outstanding results every time.
01
Look back to look forward
I take stock in what has been explored and created by the existing team members. Learning how the current project ‘need’ came about is crucial to knowing where to take it next from a strategic standpoint.
02
Lead with curiosity
Once I have the background context, I ask a lot of questions. Institutional knowledge is not something anyone can truly have coming into a new team, no matter their experience or education. I lean into the unknown and ask direct questions that help formulate the best route for not only a marketing plan, but cross-department collaboration and short and long-term business goals.
03
Constant collaboration
No matter the level of expertise I have on a topic, I am always on the lookout for new ideas and ways of thinking. Pulling from others’ experience and pooling strengths is how I like to work- and I truly enjoy the process!
04
Evaluate with Honesty and Respect
It’s so important to take an honest review of the work I have done- and not just at the end of a project. I thrive on two-way feedback. Practicing this on a continual basis, on a smaller scale, is how you can keep everyone on the same page and provide the best chance for success. I find the simple ‘Green, Yellow, Red’ approach very helpful. Green- what worked and should we keep doing? Yellow- what could potentially work if certain tweaks are made? Red- what didn’t work and we should stop doing?
