Bringing Big Ideas to Life for Global Brands Through Strategic, Impact-Driven Marketing

Overview

While at Dentsu mcgarrybowen in Chicago, IL, I had the privilege of developing advertising campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world, including Disney Parks and Resorts, Pfizer and Pizza Hut. These were top of funnel campaigns, focusing on brand awareness, consideration and demand generation. The top channels I managed were TV, radio, print and social media. One of my proudest moments was overseeing an international production in Paraguay. Collaborating with my clients’ global counterparts and working between three languages in a rural setting allowed me to tap into my partnership skills and global mindset.

On the Business Development team, I led the pitch process that landed the agency the $4M Pizza Hut account. Their annual media spend at the time was $245MM. Immediately after winning the business, I was asked to join the account team to bring a $1.5MM production and campaign execution for broadcast and digital campaigns.

At VMLY&R in Kansas City, MO, my work expanded more into the digital and social media realm. One project I managed upfront was the Tennessee Tourism “TN Vacation” campaign. This resulted in several pieces of digital content, including a Cannes Award winning piece called “Tennessee Viewfinders for the Colorblind”, which showcased the natural beauty of the state to increase visits from tourists.  While on the United Rentals account as their Digital Agency of Record, we generated a $6.88MM revenue increase and win of four Vega Digital Awards for United Rentals.
